We created the first program in the nation that allows dental hygienists the opportunity to travel and work in various cities across the U.S.. We are rapidly expanding and our program has included dental hygienists from all over the country. We give hygienists the opportunity to build their clinical skills, network, and gain exciting new experiences, all while living rent free!

Team Placement is a woman and RDH-owned business, headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, that has been serving the dental community since 1983. We offer permanent, temporary and temp to hire staff to help dental practices and organizations fill critical vacancies in their schedule. Our goal is to provide quality, availability, and consistency to your team. We are on a mission to simplify staffing in the dental community, and our number one priority is, and always will be, our relationships!
Our History

Our Founder, Betty Peebles, graduated from University of Pennsylvania in 1959 as a Dental Nurse (currently known as Dental Hygienists).

Betty was a Dental Hygiene Instructor who wanted to help her students find jobs after graduation. So, she created Team Placement.

Team Placement was born in 1983 in an effort to help solve the acute shortage of dental staff nationwide.

Travel RDH Program was created to give Dental Hygienists the opportunity to work, travel, and grow in their profession.

Betty founded the Jon C. Burr Foundation to shine a light on access to dental care and the oral health crisis in the United States.
